NUAuction is an auction system for items to be bought and sold between departments within the University of Nebraska. Only faculty and staff members may view listings, request a new listing, or bid on an item.

While NuAuction is a tool for efficiently redistributing resources within the University, it is also the first step in placing an item for sale on eBay. All items, before they can be sold on eBay, must be listed on NuAuction. Any items which do not sell on NuAuction within two weeks are then eligible to be sold on eBay to the general public.
